The Healthcare CIO Boot Camp™ is an intensive three and one-half day education program offered by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) taught by a faculty of healthcare CIO thought leaders. Combining presentations, small group discussions, case studies and interactive problem solving, participants learn the real-world skills necessary to become a successful healthcare CIO.
Participation in the Boot Camp is currently limited to members of CHIME and their direct reports (including Affiliates). AEHIS Foundation representatives are not eligible to attend. RESERVATIONS: You may book on-line or call 1.276.2500. Be sure to mention that you are with the CHIME Healthcare CIO Boot Camp™.
The reservation cut-off is October 5, 2017. A one-night room and tax deposit is required to hold the reservation. Reservations received after the cut-off will be on a space-available basis only. Make your reservations EARLY!
ROOM RATE: A block of rooms has been reserved for attendees at the special rate of $249 USD per night for single/double occupancy. Additional Charges include current room tax of 16.65%.
Note there is an optional $35 resort fee. Opt-in upon check-in.
Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Should you need to cancel your reservation you must do so no later than 72-hours prior to the date of your arrival to receive a full refund of your deposit.
LOCATION: The resort is located approximately 14 miles from the San Antonio International Airport (SAT).
TAXI: The approximate one-way taxi fare to the resort is $45 USD (one way).

FEES & PAYMENT
The registration fee for the Boot Camp is $4,195. Space in the Boot Camp is limited to a maximum of 55 participants. The registration fee includes all program materials as well as breakfasts, lunches, and receptions and group dinner.
Please note that payment due no later than September 1, 2017. If full payment is not received on or before September 1, 2017 your registration is subject to cancellation
All funds must be in US dollars. Checks should be made payable to the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and mailed to 710 Avis Drive, Suite 200, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
Boot Camp registrants who cancel on or before August 7, 2017 will be issued a full refund of their registration fees. Registrants who cancel after August 7 and before September 1, 2017 will be assessed a $1,000 non-refundable cancellation fee.
Due to the limited capacity of this program, no refunds will be made for cancellations received on or after September 1, 2017.
Please note: Attendance is not transferable to another person or to another offering of the program.
Please free yourself of work obligations for the duration of the Boot Camp. In addition to the program sessions, Boot Camp registrants are expected to participate in all of the following program events and activities:
- – Completion of participant profile questionnaire
- – Homework/reading assignments
- – Small-group case study work
- – Receptions, lunches and continental breakfasts
- – Group dinner
Please note that there is a significant amount of reading material for the Boot Camp. Upon registration we send you a file containing all of these materials approximately two weeks prior to the program. Please allow yourself sufficient time to read all of the materials prior to arriving at the Boot Camp.
Attire for the Boot Camp is business casual. Please remember to bring a sweater or jacket for air-conditioned meeting rooms.
