AEHIS members have much to look forward to at our Fall Summit, Oct. 31- Nov. 2 in San Diego.

Opening keynote speaker Daniel Barchi will engage and entrance attendees as he shares his experiences leading healthcare IT initiatives across multiple providers and provides his thoughts on the future of healthcare IT and ethical leadership.

Members will enjoy a continuation of cutting-edge education and discussion all day Thursday, which will include an interactive table-top exercise designed to include and engage organizations of all sizes and experience levels. On Friday, Nov. 2, AEHIS members will join CHIME, AEHIA and AEHIT members for our closing ceremonies, which include the CHIME Most Wired awards series and closing keynote speaker Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN’s medical correspondent.

As part of our Incident Response Table Top exercise, AEHIS members will learn and validate cybersecurity incident management, enhance the development of response and recovery activities likely to occur with a targeted cyberattack, and assess the readiness of their provider or payer organization. Participants will gain valuable insight into the various roles, incident management activities, and response and recovery options required in a real-life cybersecurity incident. This table-top exercise has been designed to appeal to organizations of all incident response maturity levels.

Security leaders at Intermountain Healthcare assisted in the development of this exercise, and as part of our introduction to this activity, welcome you to an informational webinar on how to best prepare to take on the exercise at our Fall Summit. Attendees will gain additional insight and strategies to meet these challenges at the summit, but those who cannot attend will still benefit from this informative webinar; you’ll learn how to refine important incident response and recovery (IRR) portions of your playbook and some tips on how to best respond to frequent incidents.

AEHIS Fall Summit attendees will walk away with leading and best practices knowledge and examples of IRR playbooks and processes. Members attending the Fall Summit should register for this webinar below – along with any AEHIS member looking to improve or measure their incident response capabilities.
